Before removing the blower motor at the passenger side of the vehicle, cut off and insulate the negative cable from the battery first. When equipped, remove the silencer from the space beneath the passenger side of the instrument panel. Afterwards, under the instrument panel, open the lock and remove the instrument panel wire harness connector (1) from the blower motor (2). At the end, take out the three screws (3) that connect the blower motor and wire lead bracket (4) (if present) to the HVAC housing (5) and remove the blower motor.
