Before installing, place the supply hose on the outlet of the clutch master cylinder. You should fill the brake master cylinder reservoir and remove the cover before starting. With the pushrod pointed down, allow the clutch master body to sit vertical for five or ten seconds so any air can escape. Screw the clutch master cylinder body onto the dash panel with a quarter turn. Push the hydraulic tube into the pressure side of the master cylinder and then attach the retaining clip. Make sure that the clutch master cylinder rod and pin you connect create an audible "click." Place the lower instrument panel bezel on and attach the negative
Battery Cable. Attach the air cleaner assembly and check that the brake master cylinder reservoir has DOT 3 fluid; add more DOT 3 fluid if it is dry. Open the bolt on the clutch line and depress the clutch pedal at least fifteen times so any air inside the system can go into the master cylinder reservoir. If air is stuck after a bleed, the hydraulic system needs to be bled again. Also, ensure that your clutch is working as it should.
