How to Maintain and Fix an Antenna Mast on Dodge Caravan?

Before servicing or repairing the antenna mast, take out the glove box from the dashboard. Separate the antenna cable from the ending on the extension; then pulling out the right kick trim panel and fender splash shield. Pull the rubber grommet insulator off the door hinge pillar and thread the antenna cable into the space through the pillar. After supporting the vehicle on safety stands, take off the front wheel and the splash shield under the front wheelhouse. Take out the antenna mast from its base at this step. Get rid of the plastic cap before using the cap nut tool to take out the antenna cap nut below the front fender, then remove the antenna base. For installation, work backward through the removal process and secure the antenna base nut by tightening it to 28-32 in.lbs.
