Before installing the intake manifold, get sure that the previously removed parts are now back in place and torqued as follows, fuel rail bolts at 22 Nm (200 in. lbs.), coolant outlet connector bolts at 28 Nm (250 in. lbs.) and the
Coolant Temperature Sensor gets torqued to 7 Nm (60 in. lbs.). Mount the new gasket on the cylinder head, replace the lower manifold and tighten all intake manifold bolts to 28 Nm labeled 250 in. lbs., until each bolt is tightened correctly. Be sure to replace the lower intake manifold support bracket bolts, tightening the one to the intake at 28 Nm (250 in. lbs.) and the other to the block at 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.). Put the
Power Steering Reservoir in place on the manifold and install the bolts, afterward attach the fuel line and the wiring harness of the coolant temperature sensor/fuel injector. Attach the radiator upper and heating hoses, connect the upper intake manifold and after that fill the cooling system.
