This sensor is fitted directly into the intake manifold plenum by use of a thread. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery and next, remove the air inlet resonator. Insert your hand into the intake manifold from the throttle body end to take out the sensor connector and pull out the sensor. The first step in laying the sensor is to install it and tighten it to a torque of 6.2 Nm or 55 in. lbs. After that, join the electrical connector to the sensor, fit the air inlet resonator back in place and lastly attach the negative battery cable.
