How Should the ABS Control Module Be Installed on Dodge Challenger?

Anti-Lock Brake System Module should not be installed with any lubricant on the new O-rings or solenoid valve stem seals. Clean away any debris on the mating regions of the HCU and ABM first. If the seals on your solenoid valve stems seem old, you should replace them all, since new seals ensure that moisture and debris cannot get in. If the O-ring around the connector for the pump/motor is old or damaged, swap it and make sure it is positioned correctly in the molding groove. Set the components side by side and attach the ABM to the HCU using four 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.) tightened screws. Place the ICU on top of the grommets in the ICU rail and then press the bracket inside until it is secure. Attach the rear brake tubes to the routing clip under the Fuse And Relay Center and attach the right front brake tube to the routing clip on that bracket as well. Slide the brake tubes into the two routing clips up in the upper radiator support. First make sure the seal is correctly put in place inside the ABM harness connector. With the ABM turned off, fit the ABM harness connector into the socket and snap the cover shut. After that, fasten the negative battery cable to the battery post in the proper way and perform the ABS Verification Test to clear all warning signs.
