Dodge Charger Driveshaft Center Support Bearing Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Install a Driveshaft Center Support Bearing on Dodge Charger?
    A:
Hold the rear segment in a press and position it so the joint yoke is supporting it. After that, insert the Driveshaft Center Support Bearing where shown and use installer C-4735-1 to force the Driveshaft Center Support Bearing onto the shaft. After the propeller shaft is removed from the press, join the boot to the rear shaft part. The "skip-tooth" design is used in the propeller shaft spline interface to allow proper alignment and thus avoid imbalance. Match the lines from the initial assembly and then connect the front and rear segments. Afterward, fit the boot over the front part, place it properly into the groove and then insert the propeller shaft in the vehicle.
