  Before you begin service or repair, take out the master cylinder and remove the vacuum lines from the booster. Still working at the brake pedal, take out the clip between the booster push rod and the brake pedal and then remove the nuts on the booster mounting studs. Take apart the front cowl panel and remove the booster, spacer and gaskets. To install, set the spacers and gaskets onto the booster studs, slide the studs into the holes in the cowl panel and settle the booster onto the panel. Screw each of the booster attachment nuts tight to a torque of 28 Nm (250 inch lbs.) and place the booster push rod into the lever on the brake pedal and use the clip to secure it. If the booster check valve is missing, attach it and join the vacuum hose to the valve before fitting the master cylinder. Afterward, fill and bleed the brakes.

  Before servicing or repairing the power brake booster, remove the master cylinder and unhook the vacuum line at the booster. After that, remove the clip (1) from the booster rod (3) and take out the nuts (4) that hold the booster in place. Then, separate the booster (3), spacer and gaskets from the front cowl panel. Put the spacer and gaskets onto the booster studs, pass the booster studs (4) through the cowl panel holes and fit the booster (3) onto the panel. Screw the booster attaching nuts (4) tight into place with 28 Nm (250 inch lbs.), push in the booster push rod (3) into the brake pedal and clip it with clip (1). Attach the vacuum hose to the check valve, reassemble the master cylinder and after that fill and bleed the brakes.
