Open the bend over tab at the axle and insert the line into it, then bend the tab. After that, connect the other end of the brake line to the clip on the spring hanger. If you put in a new brake line, join it to the brake hose at the wheel axle and the other line to the
Wheel Cylinder. Apply the replacement brake line to the bend over tab at the axle and complete the bend, then secure the brake line (1) to the clip on the spring hanger and to the brake hose (2) at the axle and to the wheel cylinder (2). Once everything is lower, remove support and bleed the brakes. For the brake hose leading from the axle to the bike's frame, fit it on the bracket and fasten it with clip (1). Twisted the brake line (2) to the brake hose at 16 Nm (21 ft. lbs.) and attach brake line (2) to the axle stud. Couple the brake lines (1&3) to the brake hose (2), lower the car, lift out the support and then bleed the brakes. After brake hose (6) is fitted to the front wheel, install brake caliper bracket bolt (3) at the frame securing it with 14 Nm (125 inch pounds). Tighten the brake line (1) onto the junction block (2) with 14 Nm of torque, if necessary; otherwise, tighten the bolt to that torque between the brake line (1) and brake hose (6). Set the brake hose banjo bolt (4) at the caliper, use new copper washers (5) and tighten it to a torque of 28 Nm (250 inch lbs.). After that, remove the support, bring down the vehicle and bleed the brake system.
