Use Remover/Installer C-4124 to squeeze the clamp bridge together, making sure you do not harm the boot. Make sure the large-diameter part of the boot is against the C/V joint housing, then install the inner joint boot small clamp and compress the inner hub using the connector shaft and a small drift to make sure it's 181mm (7.13 inches) from the edge of the flange to the edge of the lip. Slip a small clamp over the shaft between the outer C/V joint boot and the wheel, place the boot over the shaft and lock it with the clamp as before.
