How to Remove a Seat Cover and Seat Cushion from the Seat Back on Dodge Dakota?

Before taking out the seat back cushion and cover, make sure you have looked over all warnings and cautions. The first step is to take off the front seat. After that, remove the lumbar and recliner handles and unscrew the side shields to take them off. First, take off the buckle from the belt and next loosen both bolts holding the seat back. Press the buttons behind both of the headrest sleeves, pull the headrest to the highest position, then remove it. Pull away the j-straps and draw the cover over the top of the frame to pull off the cushion. Open the headrest's sleeve with ease by pinching the ribs on the seat's back and hitting the corner of the sleeve repeatedly with a rubber mallet.

How to Install a Seat Cover for the Back Seat on Dodge Dakota?

First, set the seat back cover over the seat back frame and add the headrest sleeves. After that, attach the seat back cushion to the frame and drape the seat back cover over it.
