Before you replace the front wiper motor, remove the negative battery connection, lift off both
Wiper Arms and disconnect the cowl plenum cover. Take away the wiring, now unscrew the right wiper drive bushing socket out from the motor ball stud by using two large screwdrivers. Ease the sleeve bushing out of the left wiper drive link from the crank arm, hold the wiper motor in place beneath and then, using a socket wrench, undo the screws that connect the motor to its bracket. Take the wiper motor and crank arm unit out of the module bracket. During installation, place the front wiper motor and motor arm assembly under the module bracket and use your screwdriver to tighten all three screws to 7 Nm (62 in lbs). Slip the sleeve bushing onto the ball stud on the motor crank arm using a short 19 millimeter or 3/4 inch socket and big channel-lock pliers, making sure to snap it over both upper and lower balls and that it is centered and can move easily. Slide the wiper drive link socket bushing over the ball stud on the crank and join the two by following the same method as before. Attach the wire harness connector to the wiper motor, drop the cowl plenum cover/grille panel onto the engine and secure the negative battery cable once more. Set the ignition to the On position, see that the wiper motor and linkage are both fully parked by cycling the
Wiper Switch and then fix the wiper arms back onto their pivot points.
