When mounting the coil spring, make sure the side with the tag goes up, as the opposite ends look the same. To begin, put the lower isolator and jounce bumper onto the coil springs if that's needed. Carefully fit the coil spring so that its jounce bumper end is located above the body perch and axle junction. Place the coil springs into position with a jack and install the shock absorber lower mounting bolts through both the axle bracket and the shock absorber lower mounting eye. Attach the lower Mounting bolts and nuts securely at each shock absorber right now, being careful not to tighten them. After that, fit the track bar to the axle with its bolt and nut and don't tighten them just yet. Take out the jack oil and install the rear brake flex hose bracket to both sides of the frame rail. After installing the assembly, fix the wheel to the car by tightening the wheel mounting nuts to 135 Nm (100 ft. lbs.). Drive the vehicle onto an alignment rack, then raise it if needed to check and repair the rear suspension close to curb height. Check that the vehicle is at the proper curb height, then tighten the shock absorber lower mounting bolt nuts to 75 Nm (55 ft. lbs.) and the track bar lower mounting bolt nut to 81 Nm (60 ft. lbs.).

Slide a transmission jack or its substitute under the axle and roll it up until the axle is supported. After that, remove the bolt and nut that hold the track bar onto the axle. For each side, remove the shock's lower mounting bolt and nut from the axle. Remove the screws keeping the rear brake flex hose bracket to the frame rail so it can swing freely and not cause the tubing to sag or become too much stretched.
