Make sure to use brand new O-rings and seals every time you reassemble and never use lubricants on these components to avoid harm. If you have trouble assembling, add water to your bowl. Remove the hoses with care so you do not damage them. Start by taking out the negative cable from the battery and the electrical connector from the idle air control motor. Afterward, eliminate the mounting screws and get the motor out of the
Throttle Body, allowing the O-ring to come out too. A new O-ring should be put in the new idle air control motor. If the end of the pintle is over 1 inch (25 mm), open the idle air control motor first with help from the DRB Idle Air Control Motor Open/Close Test and the battery. Carefully fit the idle air control motor into the throttle body, use the screws to attach it and tighten them all to 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.) torque. After that, plug the connector into the idle air control motor and reconnect the negative end of the cable to the battery.
