How to Maintain and Fix a Battery Cable on Dodge Intrepid?

Turn off the ignition and make sure all electrical parts are switched OFF prior to service the battery cable. First, remove the connection between the remote battery negative cable terminal and the vehicle, then take the battery out of your car. Fasten or push off every battery cable retaining piece, routeing clip and pushpin one at a time until the cables come out of the vehicle and then take out the battery cables from within the engine compartment. To install the battery, set the computer controlled battery cables in the engine compartment and attach the battery cable pushpins, fasteners and routing clips, one by one, until everything is safe and secure. After that, place the battery in the vehicle and attach the remote battery's negative cable to the terminal.
