The first step is to take out the upper radiator crossmember, then the radiator fan and finally all the accessory
Drive Belts. Then, holding the damper with Special Tool 8191, rotate out and remove the damper center bolt. You must ensure the A/C belt tensioner does not touch the damper, as this can damage the tensioner, timing chain cover or damper. Opening Up the Engine Use a Special Tool 8194 Insert and 1023 Three Jaw Puller to remove the damper. Installation requires all the damper's components, as well as Special Tools 8179 Screw, along with the Nut and Thrust Bearing from 6792 and 6792-1 Installer. With the damper still held with Special Tool 8191, use Special Tool 8236 to tighten the center bolt to 170 Nm (125 ft. lbs.). The next step is to set in the accessory drive belts, the radiator fan and the upper radiator crossmember.
