To start the installation of the Transmission Range Sensor, put in a new manual seal with a socket (3). After that, push the manual lever into the case all the way down to the TRS. Insert the TRS/rooster comb into the slot on the manual lever and then put the lever fully into the case. Place a pin punch (2) through the TRS/rooster comb (1) and push the roll pin (3) through to complete the assembly. Later, screw (1) into the manual lever (2) and make sure it reaches a tightness of 1 Nm (10 in. lbs.). Add the park rod assembly (2) to the TRS/rooster comb (1) and slip the park rod assembly into place on the guide assembly. Place the park pawl pin in the park pawl tube, attache the electrical connector and then put in the valve body.
