Remove the negative cable from the battery to disconnect and isolate the front and rear windshield washers and protect the electrical system. Take out the washer fluid from the tank and keep it in a clean, reusable bottle. Change the
Washer Reservoir by getting rid of it from the cooling module. Gently pull up on the top of the washer pump/motor housing to send the motor part off the reservoir pin. Use your hand to pull the washer pump upward, so that the pump inlet nipple separates from the filter inside the reservoir. Unscrew the washer pump/motor unit from the washer reservoir, then throw away the rubber seal/filter screen inside the pump hole in the reservoir.
