How to Maintain and Fix a Washer Pump on 2009 Dodge Journey?

Before you begin, make sure to take out the battery negative cable to disconnect and isolate it. Remove the washer fluid from the reservoir into a clean container, as you will use it later. Take out the cooling module's washer reservoir. Pull gently on the washer pump/motor housing at the top to take the top of the motor off the receptacle. Squeeze the washer pump and pull it upward to get the pump inlet nipple away from the rubber grommet seal/filter screen in the reservoir without damaging anything. After that, pull out and throw away the rubber seal/filter inside the pump hole in the washer reservoir.
