First, unhook the negative
Battery Cable in the trunk and get rid of the air cleaner housing to work on the left engine mount. Lift the vehicle and disconnect the lower splash shield by taking out all the retaining fasteners. Then, remove the nuts and studs from the left mount isolator. Put a block of wood beneath the
Oil Pan and then lift the engine with the help of a suitable jackstand. Following this, undo the bolts at the engine mount isolator's connection to the engine mount adapter and take out the isolator. After putting the mount in place, fasten the engine mount adapter to it with all the bolts tightened to 75 Nm (55 ft. lbs.) torque. Lower the engine so that it doesn't touch the frame, fix the engine mount studs and secure them with 12 Nm (106 inch lbs.) of torque. After the engine is all the way down and the lifting machine is gone, tighten the engine mount isolator nuts to 75 Nm (55 ft. lbs.). After that, put in place and tighten the lower splash shield, lower the vehicle, reattach the air cleaner housing assembly and attach the negative battery cable in the end.
