A screws-secured module that has an electric motor, fan and shroud, goes onto the radiator to make up the coolant fan unit. Before removing the module, first remove the negative battery cable and drain the cooling liquid below the upper end of your radiator hose. After that, take off the upper radiator hose from the radiator and detach the fan module's electrical connector. Next, get rid of the screws joined the fan module to the radiator and pull the fan shroud away from the attachment clips on the bottom. For any sub-component services, check the separate instructions on how to disassemble and reassemble. To fit the fan module, place it into the lower radiator clips, secure it with 7.5 Nm (65 inch lbs.) of force and attach the electrical connector afterward. Hook the top radiator hose back to the radiator and make sure the clamp does not block anything on the engine or hood. Next, put the negative cable cable back on the battery and fill the cooling system as directed.
