You should un-thread the 5 retaining nuts that secure the wheel cover using a hand wrench and do not use an impact wrench, as this could cause them to break. Pull on the wheel cover, guiding it out straight, to free it. Once the wheel cover is gone, be careful with the wheel retaining nut, as the flange cannot go past the large retaining tab; to fix this, push from the back of the wheel cover and tilt the retaining nut sideways to work the flange past the two little tabs. For installation, place the valve notch in the wheel cover next to the valve stem and connect the retaining nuts to the externally threaded wheel nuts, inserting them all by hand. For safety, tighten all five bolts with a hand wrench to keep your wheels from rattling. Work your way along the screws, tightening each nut according to the recommended order and repeat this at least one more time. When you sense a loose retaining nut, retighten each nut in the correct order just minutes before the slip. Position the flange beneath the large tab, run it past the pair of small tabs and lock it in place before readding the wheel cover.
