Dodge Nitro Cruise Control Switch Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Install a Cruise Control Switch on Dodge Nitro?
    A:
You should attach the electrical connector to the speed control switch first to install the cruise control switch. Attach the speed control switch using suitable screws and be certain that the rubber seal surrounds the switch. Turn the screws until they reach 1.6 Nm (15 in. lbs.). After that, attach the horn switch using three fasteners to hold it in place. Attach the electrical connector to the Clock Spring and after, fit in the driver Air Bag. Connecting the battery isn't necessary at this point. After disconnecting the battery, reconnect according to the air bag System Test in Restraints, close the hood and then check that all systems are working well.
