Just as with the engine, make sure the reference mark is in line with the propeller shaft flange. After that, place the propeller shaft bolts in the axle flange and tighten them to 108 Nm (80 ft. lbs.). After that, put in the transmission/transfer case bolts and tighten them up to the recommended specification of 108 Nm (80 ft. lbs.).
