How to Install a Rear Exterior Door Handle on Dodge Nitro?

The rear door exterior handle being installed is performed by attaching the handle and front exterior handle nut to the door and tightening to a torque of 4.5 Nm (40 in. lbs.). Proceed to install the carrier plate to the door. Make sure the door glass is fully raised to access the rear exterior handle nut. Using a light and a magnetic socket will prevent the nut from falling down into the door assembly. Next, tight the rear nut to the outside handle with tightening torque of 4.5 Nm (40 in. lbs) Next, install the door plug on the door and the trim panel.
