  First, use body sealer on the trunk/liftgate hinge to the body mating surface and place the hinges where the reference marks are located. Take off the block connected to the lift gate and install the hinge (1) to the vehicle. After that, fit bolts (4) into holes on the hinge (1) at the body place and fasten them to 28.5 Nm (21 ft. lbs.). Put the nuts (3) on the hinge (1) inside the body and tighten them to 28.5 Nm (21 ft. lbs.). Later, place the bolts (2) onto the hinge (1) in the lift gate area and tighten them to 28.5 Nm (21 ft. lbs.). Customize as the situation calls for. Attach the right side headliner molding (3) to the vehicle's body by sliding the tab (1) from the headliner into the quarter trim molding. Without pulling the headliner molding all the way out, simply pull down enough at the center to fit the tab between the headliner and the side trim piece. After all the clips are put on, snap the last four into place using your hand and close the lift gate.
