Ensure you open a window prior to installing the windshield, as forcing pressure inside the car by slamming a door or swing gate flip-up glass while urethane isn't set may result in water leaks. Avoid touching urethane or primers to any painted or trimmed portion of the car. Reach around the back of the bumper panel and clean the old urethane sticking from the windshield fence and install the support spacers correctly on the repair screws or weld studs at the bottom. Insert the new windshield into the hole, making sure it's centered against the support brackets and use the brackets to mark the glass where they rest. Lay the windshield on a work surface with two soft blocks, 10 centimeters by 10 centimeters by 50 centimeters, 75 centimeters away from each other. Use the Mopar(R) Glass Cleaner and a non-fiber cloth to wipe the inside of your windshield and apply clear glass primer around the inside edge with a 25 mm overlap, using another clean, dry cloth. After that, use black-out primer to paint 15 mm wide around the top and on the sides and 25 mm wide on the bottom, giving each zone at least three minutes to dry. Place each spacer along the edge of the windshield opening, place the dot on the upper molding against the mark on the glass and fit the upper molding in at that position. Line the inside of the moldings with a 10 mm wide urethane bead and make two more beads along the windshield's bottom edge. Paint fence primer around the border of the windshield opening fence, then give it 18 minutes to dry. With help, stand the windshield above the opening, making the reference marks at the bottom even with the support spacers and carefully let the windshield down to the windshield opening fence, sliding the top molding into position as needed. Push the windshield toward the fence spacers so the top molding meets the roof line and then remove urethane residue on the exterior with Mopar(R) Super Clean. Mount the A-pillar molding and the clips on the windshield, then secure the push pin to the same side and the whole unit will be fixed. Start with the cowl grille and slide it into place, then connect the clips to the windshield's base and insert four push pins from the cowl grille into the body. Put in the hood seal and
Wiper Arms and then mount the inside rear view mirror. The windshield should be tested with water after the urethane has dried to check the serviceability.
