How to Remove and Install a Battery Sensor on Dodge Ram 1500?

The battery temperature sensor is found under the vehicle battery and on a mounting hole and it needs to be unhooked by first removing the battery. Take out the battery and unplug the electrical connector from the engine's wire harness after lifting the sensor out of its hole in the battery tray mount. Installation is completed by lifting the connector up the hole in the battery tray, plugging the sensor in, seating it in the top and then reinstalling the battery.
