To service or repair the front door interior handle, remove the door trim panel and peel back the waterdam to access the inside handle. Take out the screw that fixes the inside handle to the door. Now, slide the inside handle forward and take this out from the door. Remove the interior handle from the door after detaching the door latch release cable from the inside handle. To install, connect door latch release cable to the inside handle, position inside handle in door and slide backward. First, install the screw fixing the inside handle to the door. Position the inside handle actuator onto the door inner panel. Reposition the waterdam and finally install the door trim panel.
