Start by taking away the hub bearing and then release the tie-rod or drag link end from the steering knuckle arm to work on the knuckle. After that, take off the wheel speed sensor and only loosen the upper ball stud nut, leaving it in place. After removing the lower ball joint nut, put in the special C-4150A separator and separate the ball joint. After that, remove the upper ball joint nut and pull out the steering knuckle.
