The fuel pressure regulator is found above the fuel cylinders on the left hand side of the car and contains the fuel filter. Before taking out the fuel filter, you need to purge the fuel system and lift the vehicle. Then, get rid of the fuel cylinder/carrier group that's located on the left side of the vehicle. Detach the fuel inlet high-pressure tube fitting from the fuel pressure regulator and the manual shut-off valve and be sure to clean the area and tube before you remove them. Take away the tube fitting from the fuel pressure regulator, making sure that a small spring is underneath. Following this, take out the filter retention spring, filter and O-ring without allowing any non-manufacturer material into the fuel pressure regulator hole. Before installing, clean both the tube and filter retention spring and after that attach the O-ring and filter to the regulator with the filter spring installed. Add a bit of Teflon(TM) anaerobic thread sealant only to the pipe thread areas of the tube fitting, being careful it doesn't get anywhere else and then install it on the pressure regulator. Attach the fuel high-pressure tube to the pressure regulator and manual shut-off valve, then inspect the tube with a Go No-Go gauge as soon as you've tightened it. After that, reinsert the fuel cylinder/carrier assembly.
