On the upper side, lift out hinge 2 after grease penciling its placement on the door and b-pillar. Before removing hinge 2, take off nut 1 and bolt 9 from the motor and the three bolts 6 that attach it to the b-pillar. As before, use a grease pencil to mark the hinge position for the lower hinge on the door and b-pillar, then take out the lower b-pillar trim. After that, remove nut 1 and bolt 9 from the hinge on the door and then take out the two bolts 5 that secure the hinge to the b-pillar. At last, remove bolt 4 from inside the car and then lift the hinge out of its position on the b-pillar.

Insert the upper hinge into the door as the second step and attach it with nut (1) and bolt (9) as fast as 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.).
