How to service the front door window motor on Dodge Ram 3500 Van?

The first thing to do for servicing the front door window motor is to disconnect the negative battery cable. After that, pull out the trim panel from inside the front door. Detach the retainer from its hole in the front door module and pull out its power window motor wire harness connector. After that, delete the screws that hold the power window motor and mechanism to the front door module and pull the motor and mechanism out. Make sure you reverse the removal method and check that the mounting screws are tightened to 11 Nm or 98 in. lbs.
