First, remove the negative
Battery Cable before you remove the radiator cooling fan. After that, disconnect the lower shroud line of the radiator from the coolant line. To detach the fan blade/viscous fan drive from the
Water Pump, rotate the nut on the radiator fan assembly clockwise, as you look at it from the front, because the threads on the radiator fan drive are reverse. Hold the pulley in place using Counterholder 8930 before you remove the fan blade or viscous fan drive. After finishing that, remove the upper air seal and the upper radiator hose. Lastly, take off the radiator fan shroud and radiator fan, making certain the viscous fan clutch stays upright and not flat while you store it.
