How to Service an HVAC Pressure Switch on Dodge Stratus?

Before handling the refrigerant pressure sensor or switch, remove the battery negative terminal. Next, separate the connector from the HVAC pressure switch and take out the switch from the fitting on the A/C discharge line, not bothering to save the seal. The O-ring and refrigerant oil should be specially selected and only the suggested version used for the compressor. Drizzle lubricant on a fresh rubber O-ring seal and then put it in place on the fitting of the HVAC pressure switch. After that, fit the HVAC pressure switch onto the A/C discharge line by hand. Join the wire harness connector with the HVAC pressure switch and end by connecting the negative battery cable.
