How to Maintain the Shift Indicator in the Instrument Cluster on Dodge Stratus?

Service on the Odometer/Transmission Range Indicator can only be done after the Instrument Cluster is removed. Start the job by disconnecting the Speedometer/Tachometer. After that, remove the screws holding the speedometer in place from the back and pull out the odometer/transmission range indicator display. When installing, follow these steps in reverse.

Subsequently, insert the plastic trim stick and Special Tool C-4755 behind the forward or rear part of the transmission range indicator bezel to pop it free from the floor console. Applied upward pressure to the transmission range indicator bezel and unlock the tabs from the rear floor console bezel near the back. Take out the brown indicator group and the lamp together from the vehicle. Installation requires you to arrange the indicator assembly and attach the wire connector to the lamp assembly inside your vehicle. Push the transmission range indicator bezel downward onto the slots in the rear floor console bezel.
