How to Install Tail Lights on Dodge Challenger?

To fit the outside tail lamp, link the electrical plug and fix the rear quarter panel lid on the back of the car. First, install the edge plastic wing nut, replace the trunk carpeting and then add the second wing nut. The next step is to hook up the connector to the center tail lamp and fit the lamp onto the trunk lid after the battery negative lead has been connected. After that, insert the two under-center push pin retainers into the very bottom of the tail lamp and then attach the four wing nuts at the trunk lid's backside. Once the bracket has been installed, tighten the screws on the outside of the center tail lamp to the deck lid to 3.5 Nm (30 in. lbs.). As soon as installation is done, attach the negative battery cable.

How to Install a Tail Light on a Sedan and a Wagon on Dodge Charger?

On a sedan, insert the tail lamp in the rear quarter panel and fasten the three plastic wing nuts. From inside the trunk, attach the electrical connector to the tail lamp unit, lay down the new carpeting and link the battery negative cable. For the wagon, insert the tail lamp's electrical connector into the socket, place the lamp in the hole in the quarter panel and push the lamp forward to place the indexing pins. Attach one plastic wing nut, add in the two push pin fasteners through the liftgate and link the battery negative cable.
