The first step is to mount the fuel rail and apply some clean engine oil around the O-ring of each nozzle, where you will piece the
Fuel Injectors on. Fit the injector nozzles into the appropriate sockets in the cylinder heads and set the injectors tightly, followed by hand tightening the bolts on the fuel rail. The sequence for fuel rail bolts, according to the instructions, needs to be tightened to 10 Nm (90 in. lbs.). After this, connect the
Intake Manifold and attach each fuel injector's electrical connector, making certain the fuel line quick connector is not leaking and cannot spark a fire. Make the quick connection between the fuel line and the fuel rail assembly and then hook the electrical connectors to each
Throttle Body. After that, insert the electrical connector harness clip into the harness. Attach the hose from the intake manifold to the vacuum hose, then adjust the clamp on it and link the electrical connector with the
MAP Sensor. Insert the air cleaner assembly and fasten the negative
Battery Cable, applying 10 Nm (90 in. lbs.). Also, use ASD Fuel System Test in Scan Tool to inflate the fuel system and inspect it for leaks.
