Remove the thermostat housing attaching bolts in the opposite order of the recommended torque sequence and then remove the housing.   You should drain the cooling system down to where it reaches or goes under the thermostat before you attempt any repair or servicing. Then, remove the Intake Manifold using the proper instructions. Afterward, take off the clamp at the thermostat housing attached to the upper radiator hose and pull the hose out. After that, take out all the bolts attaching the thermostat housing and open the housing, before removing and throwing away the gasket and the old thermostat. Clear both gasket surfaces using a plastic scraper and Mopar(R) Brake Parts Cleaner or a similar cleaner so you don't risk harming the aluminum parts. When installing, set a new gasket above the cylinder block crossover area, then push the thermostat into the hole on the housing. Put the housing in place, making sure the thermostat is secure in the hole that's been provided. Set the housing into the cylinder block and tighten its bolts to 11 Nm (95 inch lbs.). After that, attach the intake manifold and add a fresh cooling fluid as directed.
