How to Service and Repair a Hood Latch on Jeep Cherokee?

The first thing to do is take out the screw that holds the hood latch to the hood's inner panel. Moving on, disconnect the latch connecting rod and take the latch out from the hood. Attach the latch to the latch connecting rod, put the latch in the correct spot on the hood inner panel and install the screw that fills in the hole in the hood.
