How to Remove and Install a Rear Door Window Regulator on Jeep Cherokee?

Before removing the rear door window regulator, first remove the door trim panel and waterdam. After that, take out the bolt holding the window glass to the regulator and support both the glass and the regulator. After that, unscrew the lower bolts connecting the regulator to the inner door and, if your vehicle has a regulator motor, also remove its nuts. Disconnect the upper screw that holds the regulator to the inner door panel and pull the wire harness connector from the regulator drive as well. Also, if your yacht has a regulator and drive motor, remove these parts as well. With the window regulator and, if you have it, the drive motor within the door panels, install the fasteners that link the regulator to the door inner panel. Link up the regulator wire harness connector, position the glass against the regulator and set in place the retainer, bushing and bolt. The last two steps are to put in the waterdam and the trim panel.
