In order to service the horn relay, first disconnect and isolate battery negative cable. To access the fuse, unsnap the fuse access panel from the right cowl side inner trim panel. Then, remove the push nut that secures the right cowl side inner trim panel to the junction block stud. After that, remove the screw located above the fuse access opening that secures the trim panel to the right cowl side inner panel. Then remove the screw that secures the right cowl side inner trim panel and right front door sill trim to door opening sill. After removing the right cowl side inner panel trim, identify and locate the junction block horn relay and remove it. To install, position the horn relay into the junction block in the proper receptacle, ensuring that the terminals fit into the terminal cavities. Apply firm pressure onto the horn relay until the terminals are fully seated. To the right cowl side inner panel, reattach the trim. Install the screw securing the right cowl side inner trim panel and right front door sill trim to the door opening sill and tighten to 2.2 Nm (20 in. lbs.). To 2.2 Nm (20 in. lbs); tighten the screw above the fuse access opening, then install the push nut on the junction block stud. Ultimately, reattach the fuse access panel to the correct cowl side inner trim panel and reconnect the battery negative wire.
