The first step to servicing or repairing a wheel hub involves lifting and supporting the vehicle and afterward removing the wheel and tire assembly. After that, remove the
Brake Caliper, rotor and ABS wheel speed sensor. After that, get rid of the cotter pin, nut retainer and axle hub nut. Take the mounting bolts out of the rear hub part of the
Steering Knuckle and remove the hub bearing from the axle and the steering knuckle. Install the hub bearing and brake dust shield on the knuckle, then fit the hub bearing to the bolts and tighten those to a torque of 102 Nm (75 ft. lbs.). After that, install the hub washer and nut, tighten the hub nut to 237 Nm (175 ft. lbs.) and attach the new cotter pin to the nut. After that, fit the brake rotor, caliper and ABS wheel speed sensor and lower the vehicle after you remove the jack supports.
