How to Install an Antenna Cable and Body Assembly on Jeep Compass?

Position the antenna body and cable assembly between your vehicle's fender. Insert the antenna cable through the fender's opening. Attach the grommet to the side panel and join the cable with the connector on the instrument panel harness. First install the antenna nut and adapter and add the shroud afterward if you have it. After that, fit the inside fender shield and the antenna mast, tightening them to 5 Nm (46 in. lbs.) as you secure them and see that there is no gap between the mast and the antenna base. Join the antenna cable to the instrument panel antenna cable, insert the right side cowl trim panel and then attach the battery negative cable.
