Before anything else, put the new rear wheel stud into the hub flange by turning it where the park brake shoes touch the wheel. Then, set three washers onto the bolt and fit the lug nut above them-with its flat side against the washers. Add enough torque so that the stud is pushed against the hub flange, so that it is properly installed. After that, remove the lug nut and washers and assemble the brake rotor and caliper. After that, put on the wheel and tire by using a new lug nut on any stud you have replaced. Next, undo the support and slowly lower the vehicle.
