How to Service and Repair a Control Arm Bushing on Jeep Wrangler?

Before servicing or fixing the bushing, remove the upper suspension arm from the axle. On a 4x2, place Spacer 7932-3 over the axle bushing and for the right side of a 4x4, follow the same step. Subsequently, insert Receiver 7932-1 into the end of the bushing and bring Remover/Install 7932-2 to the other end of the bushing. Through the use of the remover, insert the bolt and fore end and tighten Long Nut 7603 to push the bushing out of the axle bracket. With the nut, bolt, receiver, remover and bushing removed, Spacer 7932-3 should be left in place for installation in the bushing on a 4x2 vehicle and the right side of a 4x4 vehicle. When installing, fill your axle bracket with Receiver 7932-1 facing away, position Remover/Install 7932-2 with its tapered end facing the bushing and push the bushing toward the axle bracket. Fit bolt 7604 from the receiver to the bushing through the installer, after that add Long Nut 7603 and tighten it to seat the bushing into the axle bracket. After that, take out the tools and reattach the upper suspension arm.
