Start by making sure the vehicle is sitting on its tires before installing the front sway bar link. First, start installing the sway link to the vehicle. The next step is to attach the right lower sway bar link bolt (4) to the axle and tighten it to 102 Nm (75 ft. lbs). Then tighten the right upper sway bar link nut (2) to the sway bar and to 102 Nm (75 ft. lbs.). Then go ahead and install the left lower sway bar link bolt (4) to the axle and tighten it to 102 Nm (75 ft. lbs.). And then install and snug the left upper linkage nut (1) to the sway bar, tightening to 102 Nm (75 ft. lbs.). Once done with these steps, remove the support and lower the vehicle.

How to Maintain a Sway Bar Link in the Rear Suspension on Jeep Wrangler?
