The Ram Air Temperature Sensor is located in the intake and measures air temperature. It sends signals to the engine computer to maintain fuel and spark. Find the intake tube or manifold sensor, press the connector tab, and pull it off gently. Remove the old unit, check the O-ring, and match up the new Air Temperature Sensor. Put light oil on the seal, insert the sensor straight in, and clip lock. Reconnect the harness once again, reconnect the battery, clear the codes, and do a drive to verify a steady idle.
