Ram Fan Clutch maintains the coolness of the engine in the truck at the appropriate time and releases the horsepower when it is not required. With a wrench, hold the water pump pulley still, loosen and unscrew the large nut that holds the old Fan Clutch and then lift the fan and clutch assembly together. Install the new unit in place of the old one, reattach all the bolts to factory spec, replace the assembly and scrape the radiator, then replace the shroud, turn the blades by hand to verify clearance, and then start up your Ram and monitor the temperature gauge rise.
