The Ram Horn Relay takes the horn's power from the steering column and channels it through a light control signal. This prevents the horn wiring from utilizing the steering column wires. Furthermore, this allows the horn signal to remain loud while the wiring stays cool during driving. Modern Ram pickups rely on decades of grit yet treat occupants well. The e-Torque mild hybrid increases torque deliveries at low speeds for easier launch and sneaks energy back into the battery for lower fuel bills. The air suspension can either crouch down for loading or, when required, rise by 8 inches to clear obstructions in the road. The cargo trunk locks and runs along the bed rails, consuming cargo without consuming bed space. Inside the Ram trucks, wind and road noise are sealed out and a billboard-sized touchscreen keeps the driver informed not distracted. If a replacement is necessary, park the Ram on level ground, disconnect the negative cable, and kill power. Open the lid of the fuse box and use the diagram to locate the Horn Relay socket. Then click the new unit into place so that the terminals sit straight. The positive side of the fused battery lead is connected to terminal 30, terminal 87 is landed on the horn wire, terminal 85 is hooked to the steering switch, and terminal 86 is hooked to ground. The fuse cover should be properly fitted, reconnect the battery, and then bang the horn button to confirm a loud sound. The new Horn Relay now directs battery power without delay.
